Secondary Performance Dessert ’18

On Thursday 26th April the Secondary Ensembles from Waverley Christian College Wantirna South and Narre Warren South combined in a concert extravaganza for our Secondary Performance Dessert.

The Night opened with the annual ‘Night of Jazz’ performances, showcasing the talents of our WCC Jazz Ensembles as they perform their full ‘Generations in Jazz’ program before heading off on tour to Mt Gambier the following week. Performances from WS Jazz Band, WS Small Jazz Ensemble, WS Jazz Choir, NWS Jazz Band and NWS Jazz Choir (Max Harmony) really set a great tone for the opening of the night.

The dessert was delightful and certainly made for a great interval treat, because who doesn’t love a concert and cake.

After sufficient digestion time the Secondary Ensembles from Wantirna South performed the pieces they have been working on over all of Term 1. Featuring performance from Concert Band, String Ensemble, Chamber Strings and Secondary Choir the audience left very well satisfied in their musical and culinary tastes.

A big thank you to Wendy Shannon, Sue Spratley, Asher Johnson and David Hoang for their work on this event.
